Wanjiku has been a customer since week three. She's placed something like 22 orders, given us five product ideas (one of which we listed), and replied to every email we've sent her — even the ones that probably shouldn't have shipped.

So we asked: what's in your kit, and how did you build it?

Start with the daily essentials

"I figured out the three things I touch every day before anything else. I bought the best version of each I could afford, then stopped buying for a while. That changed everything."

Add slowly

"For the rest, I keep a wishlist and revisit it every couple of weeks. If I still want something after a month, I get it. If I've forgotten, it didn't matter."

Ask for advice

"Honestly the WhatsApp button on the site is gold. I've gone back and forth with the team three or four times before placing an order, and they've always nudged me toward the cheaper option that fits better."
